Family papers, 1862-1948.

Correspondence, photographs, and miscellaneous items of the De Velling family of Ohio and Indianapolis. Early letters are from Charles De Velling to his sister while serving in the Civil War. Much of the later correspondence is to Bertha May and Helen Irene De Velling in Indianapolis, probably from Charles' mother. Also included are four photographs of family, a painting, a church register, and newsclippings.
